Balloons
The next skill that I wanted to learn was Balloons. Not just any balloons, but the ones that are twisted into animals and things. They are made with 260's (that is a balloon 2 in.wide and 60 in. long). Like juggling, I found a book on Balloon Sculpture. Well it was reading and reading, twisting and twisting, poping and poping, keeping on and keeping on, and then there it was, my first dog. It was not perfect, but it had all it's parts. Now with many trys and a lot of balloons on the floor and all around the room it was becoming easier, so I just kept on doing it . Well it seems easy now and I have added a lot more to my collection of things I can do, like Bears, Swords, Bracelets, Hats, Flowers and lots more. Oh, I didn't tell you I had to go and buy a balloon hand pump to blow them up as that was a little more then I could do at first. Now I have a battery powered air pump that can blow up about 400 balloons on a single charge. It is interesting to see that as you start to pass out balloons, you become a magnet that draws people of all ages from everywhere. That's the time to just be a clown and watch the MAGIC happen.
